Research Areas
Our research covers four main areas – from sustainability and greening to safety, advanced SMART materials, and digital technologies.
Environment
Our research aims to reduce the emission and energy intensity of production, extend the lifecycle of materials, and efficiently utilize primary resources. We emphasize the principles of the circular economy, where we view industrial by-products and recyclates as valuable input raw materials for the development of modern binders.

Circularity and Recycling
By utilizing recycled and secondary raw materials, we close material loops, reduce the consumption of primary resources, and minimize waste generation while maintaining the quality and durability of building structures. We focus on researching the usability of secondary materials, evaluating their technical and environmental properties, and developing recycling technologies for their effective integration into production processes.
